Archived Data
An archive contains the resources of a 40-year research project studying two generational families in the U.S. and a comparison set of data for one generation in Japan. Summaries are in two self-published books: Creating Love and Respect in Families: from Generation to Generation and Lifelong Marriage in the Greatest Generation.
These data are available for others to use. The data have been digitized. The 1970s home interviews are audio taped, but everything else is video. I would like to share the archived data with other researchers. A summary of the archive is available in a Theory Construction and Research Methodology (National Council on Family Relations) paper.
